		Melbourne to Adelaide et Kangaroo Island - publié le 09.03.2005



		Hi ! Here are some short news before my 10-days trip to Alice Spring through the red dirt. I definitely left Melbourne on the 28th of February to reach Adelaide in 3 days (guided tour in a minibus, 10 pers.) via the Great Ocean Road. This time I did it completely, and could admire an awesome sunset at the Twelve Apostles. We were lucky enough to have sunny days to see some of these amazing coastal rock formations. We also went through the Grampians National Park before reaching Adelaide. I didn't rest that much as the following day I left for another 3-days tour to Kangaroo Island, where I spotted some more "jumpimg animals", but also sea lions and fur seals. We slept under the stars (and the rain for the last morning... ;-) and had good fun with sandboarding and surfing sessions. Back to Adelaide I strolled around the city (which is not really exciting) and relaxed at the beach. Then I went to visit Barossa Valley and its famous Jacob's Creek, the major Australian wine producer. We tasted the products of different wineries the whole day (!) with a big BBQ (barbecue) for lunch. The marinated kangaroo was delicious ! Well, that's about all for today.
