Happy New Year 2005 ! - publié le 31.12.2004
Hello everybody !

From now I'll write this "journal" in English to take into consideration those who don't speak french...

(Si tu ne comprend pas l'anglais, demande a ton voisin ou a google de traduire ;-) )

Well, we went for a sailing trip at the Whitsunday Islands a few days ago, and it was very nice apart from the rain... But to be honest we also had sunny moments on the boat or on the beach. There we went snorkeling and I also did an introductional dive. I was happy to discover that I hadn't any more problems with my ears under water!

Then we went to place called Seaforth for a rest at a Camping place and afterwards we headed to Eungella National Park where we had the chance to spot a Platypus (a kind of water-rat with a duck's beak) and a couple of kangaroos. A really pleant place to enjoy the pristine nature !

The next day we drove to Rockhampton and Bundaberg where we spent our Christmas thes four together. I must admit that it was quite hard to realise that it was Christmas !

On the 25th we did a 2 days-trip to Fraser Island, with a heavy rain for our departure, of course... We had to sleep all of us in the car when the two in the tent discovered that they had to swim to breathe... ;-) Anyway the trip at Fraser was very nice, a lot of sand, we drove around on the beach, saw some dingoes (wild dogs) and even some sharks from a cliff. Worth seeing !

After that we went to the touristic town of Noosa, which is overcrowded at this time of the year. Next to the town was a little National Park where we were lucky enough to see a real wild free Koala !
We also went for a 2hours horseriding trip which was quite funny with Ricki flying out of her horse ! By chance we were running in a lake at this moment, so no injury.

Today we are in Brisbane to spend New Year's Eve with another friend of the School from Cairns.

I wish you all the best for 2005 and SEE YOU !!
